The new TV Jones Universal Mount™ with Clip System™ makes choosing a TV Jones pickup easier than ever! No need to choose between the No Ears Mount or the English Mount. This new mount does both with one easy mounting option.
SPECIAL NOTES:
*Gretsch 5120/5122 Guitars: Ring risers are NECESSARY under the rings for this guitar due to it's high neck angle. The bridge position requires two and the neck requires one.
*Gretsch Pro Jet: Please specify "Short Bridge Cover" for the bridge pickup in the "Special Request" field. Routing may be necessary.
Blends Twang, Fatness, Sparkle and Warmth
The Power'Tron™ was born out of our desire to create a pickup with a stronger midrange presence and higher output than our TV Classic™.
Bridge: Two extra-tall bobbins. Single treble notes are reproduced with a fuller tone, while bass notes twang out deep and clear. Overall, the tone is remarkably close t a 1950's PAF Humbucker, blended with the zing and twang of a Filter'Tron™.
DC Resistance: 7.8K | Inductance: 4.75H Neck: Standard boboins over-wound with standard-gauge magnet wire. The resulting tone is slightly darker and hotter than a TV Classic™.
DC Resistance: 5.0K | Inductance:2.24H
Tone/Characteristic: TV Classic™ on steroids! Overall slightly darker - punchy mids and clean treble. Gibson'-like with Filter'Tron overtones.
Likeness/Derived from: 1950's Gibson Humbucker. Fatter than the TV Classic Plus™
