Gretsch® commemorates its 125th anniversary (1883-2008) and a 50-year legacy of incredible guitars with a very special instrument, the G6118T-LTV 125th Anniversary™. Its bound laminated maple body has a metallic gold-finished back and sides, with a rare mid-’50s Gretsch color—Jaguar Tan—chosen for the arched top. Distinctive spruce “ML” bracing produces rich and open tone. The three-piece maple neck has a tapered heel and ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl Neo Classic™ thumbnail inlays; the black headstock has a commemorative chrome plate (“Anniversary 1883-2008”). Other features include dual TV Jones® Power’Tron™ pickups, three-position pickup switch, three-position master tone switch, “G-arrow” knobs, metallic gold plexi pickguard, deluxe Sperzel® locking tuners, Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and Bigsby® B6C vibrato tailpiece.
